Its been 2 weeks since i picked up 'A Suitable Boy' by Vikram Seth to read. Had heard a lot about it and read its glowing reviews on amazon.com. Checked it out of a local library; frankly speaking it does get a bit dull at times. He has done a good job of weaving so many characters into the story, but sometimes get the feeling maybe we don't need to devote a whole chapter to a character...particularly Rasheed. maybe its too early for me to comment about the character since i have just read half the book and still have another 600 odd pages to go. I do feel sometimes that maybe i should just return the book half read....but that curiosity to know who turns out to be the suitable boy keeps me going....:)
